Terms & Conditions

Events, Programmes and Live Music Experiences

These Terms and Conditions apply to all events, programmes, performances, workshops, and live music experiences delivered or organised by PLAYZER Media Ltd (“the organiser”), including but not limited to Start 2 Stage® and associated live shows.

1. Bookings and Tickets

Places or tickets for events and programmes are secured upon payment of the advertised fee.

Tickets or places are issued for the specific event, programme run, venue, and date stated at the time of booking and are not transferable to other events unless agreed by the organiser.

2. Refunds and Cancellation

Tickets and programme places are refundable up to 14 days before the scheduled event or programme start date.

Refund requests must be made in writing using the contact details provided on booking confirmation.

Within 14 days of the event or programme start date, tickets and places become non-refundable due to venue, staffing, artist, and production commitments already incurred.

Where attendance becomes impossible within 14 days, the organiser may offer transfer to a future event or programme where applicable and subject to availability. This may include transfer within Start 2 Stage® in accordance with the Commitment Elevator® policy where applicable.

This policy does not affect statutory consumer rights.

3. Event or Programme Changes

The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to venues, schedules, line-ups, programme structure, or advertised details where necessary for safety, operational, or quality reasons.

If an event or programme is cancelled by the organiser, ticket holders will be offered transfer to a rescheduled date or a full refund.

4. Attendance and Participation

Participants and attendees must follow all reasonable instructions from the organiser and venue staff relating to safety, conduct, and event operation.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in such cases.

5. Performer, Musician and Artist Responsibilities

Where musicians, artists, bands, or performers take part in PLAYZER Media events or programmes, the following responsibilities apply:

Performers must arrive at agreed call times prepared for rehearsal, soundcheck, or performance as scheduled.

Performers are responsible for providing and maintaining their own instruments and personal equipment unless explicitly agreed otherwise in advance.

Performers must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward staff, venue personnel, other performers, and audiences.

Performance content must be appropriate for a live public or mixed-audience environment and must not include unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory material.

Performers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to perform all material presented, including original works and covers.

Performers must follow reasonable stage, technical, and safety instructions from the organiser or venue.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in performance opportunities being withdrawn or participation being ended without payment or refund where applicable.

6. Equipment and Property

Attendees and performers are responsible for their own personal property and equipment at all times.

The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items except where required by law.

7. Media and Recording

Photography, audio, and video recording may take place at PLAYZER Media events and programmes.

By attending, participants and audience members acknowledge that general event imagery may be captured for documentation and promotional use.

Individuals may request not to be identifiable in media capture where reasonably practicable.

8. Health and Safety

All participants, performers, and attendees must comply with venue and organiser health and safety requirements.

Anyone posing a safety risk may be refused participation or removed from the event.

9. Programme-Specific Terms

Some PLAYZER Media programmes (including Start 2 Stage®) may include additional specific participation terms relating to attendance structure, performance opportunities, or programme format.

Where such programme-specific terms apply, they operate alongside these general Terms and Conditions.

10. Liability

Attendance and participation in PLAYZER Media events and programmes is at the individual’s own risk.

The organiser’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by UK law.

11. Contact

Booking, refund, or event enquiries should be directed to PLAYZER Media Ltd using the contact details provided on booking confirmation or the official website.
